It is incredibly quiet, and after putting up six of these fans in my home, I only had to balance one blade from one fan. It is highly recommended if you are concerned about wasting energy. Except for the wind it generates, you won't know it is on. It circulates a more than sufficient amount of air at the higest setting, and you'll find that you won't need the highest setting to get sufficient airflow.
Cons: It is a higher priced product than most average fans, but look up its energy efficiency and compare it to other fans. You'll find that in this case, you get what you pay for!
